About Me

I am a Portland native and love this town. I enjoy the seasons, but especially summers in Oregon and all the beautiful lakes and rivers. My weekends are for spending time with my family and friends, discovering the ever-changing array of culinary treats and live music.

I look forward to working with you and helping you to identify ways that you can move beyond your challenges and thrive in your daily life and relationships.

Education

I earned my master’s degree in Couples, Marriage, and Family Counseling from Portland State University. I employ my training in Emotion Focused Therapy for Couples, Family Systems, and the Gottman Method in my eclectic approach to therapy. In addition to couples work, I have a background in working with individuals and families adjusting to divorce, trauma, and co-parenting issues. I also have ten years’ experience of crisis counseling with victims of domestic violence and four years of supervising counseling interns in a learning clinic.
